Jesus Shall Reign!

Most news published these days is overwhelmingly bad. If one is not careful, he can become disillusioned by it and lose hope in the eternal King of kings and Lord of lords. However awful things will become, one thing is sure - that Jesus Christ is still Lord of all and none shall usurp Him. "Which in His times He shall show, who is the Blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;" I Tim. 6:15

Current Schedule: We are really busy these days catching up on much-needed maintenance at our house and property that have been sorely neglected all year due to so much of our time spent on the road. Also, we are still actively involved in a positive way in the lives of others, here and away.

I am producing a new spiritually enlightening study on the churches of Corinth and Ephesus for DVD / CD distribution in January. I am presently completing a book, soon to be published on the fullness of Jesus Christ in the body, for distribution in February. Finally, we are designing our soon-to-be-released monthly Truthletter titled, The Last Days Times.

We really do look forward to live meetings beginning again sometime in the months of February or March. Stay tuned and keep in touch!

The Holy Spirit Grieves, But He is Patient

The Holy Spirit is grieved amid the myriad of religious Christian forms that we have come up with. He is hardly able to speak or move in the very house where He is given platitudes of praise from the lips of those who claim His divine guidance! Oh, dear saints! Let us be careful that we are not pretending to obey the Spirit as we talk so much about Him. All too often our lips praise Him, but our hearts are far from Him. Let us seek His forgiveness so that He may indeed finish His good work in us.

Yes, the Spirit of the Lord is grieved but we should not lose hope, for in His grief He is not dismayed as we are, since He cannot be dismayed; He has not forsaken us altogether, since He cannot leave us alone altogether; and He is not helpless to do something about us, since He is almighty God! And that, my fellow believers, is what He is about to do – something about us!

"And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption" (Eph. 4:30 NKJV).

Responsibility and Accountability as Believers?

It is unfortunate that modern Christian theology has hardly a shred of responsibility or accountability on the part of the believer attached to it.
We have erroneously assumed and taught to our great detriment, that as New Covenant believers we are far removed from responsibility to live a life worthy of the Lord, or that we shall be accountable for not having done so.

Due to our unbridled desire to fulfill our own lusts, we have manufactured excuses for it, all under the guise of grace. By this we have warped the most central part of God's plan for us - that by His grace we are enabled to do His will. We have convinced ourselves that God's New Covenant grace excuses the believer from right actions rather than enlightens and empowers him to take right actions. We have believed and taught that since Jesus Christ fulfilled the righteousness of God, and that He was and is the Scapegoat for our unrighteousness, we have little if any responsibility for righteousness at all, nor shall we have to give account for the lack of the same.

Oh, fellow believers! The work that Jesus accomplished was never meant to release us from walking even as He walked, but rather His manner of life was to be our example. (I Cor. 15:10, II Cor. 6:1, I Pet. 1:16, II Pet. 3:11, Rom. 13:14, Rom. 14:12, II Pet. 4:5)

Let the Peace of God Rule in Your Hearts, and Be Thankful!

"Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."
Colossians 3:12-17 NKJV

Should We Be Made To Feel Bad For Committing Sins?

The answer to this question is, "YES! and ABSOLUTELY!" Yet, how unpopular would this be if spoken to the masses from pulpits today? And since today's preaching is all about being popular, that simply would not do. Oh, my! In this day and age of political correctness and carnal sensitivities it is definitely taboo to make someone "feel bad," unless of course that someone is speaking the truth, in which case it is not only acceptable but also duty!

Making someone feel bad is actually a very important part of the work of the Holy Spirit. He is to "CONVICT the world of sin!" In simple terms, that means when someone sins, He will make them feel bad about it - real bad - and thank God for it!

Think of it this way. If someone does not have natural feeling in his foot and steps on a sharp object cutting himself and bleeding, he may bleed to death in ignorance. Thank God for our very complex system of nerves that alerts us by making us feel bad (alerting us) when something in our body goes wrong. In the same way, when our conscience is made to feel bad through conviction of the Holy Spirit due to sin, it shows us that there is something wrong; and hopefully, we will respond with repentance fixing the problem.

Can you imagine Christian preachers telling people that God only wants to make them feel good? It actually happens every Sunday morning in hundreds and thousands of Christian churches! Do you see how dangerous this kind of ideology has been? Imagine the damage done to the body of Christ when conviction is withdrawn in favor of this kind of Christian political correctness; and imagine what GOD thinks about it!

Please, do not fall into the fatal trap that takes away conviction for sin, but rather pray that the Holy Spirit will make you feel so bad that He will bring you to your knees in real repentance - literally.

"Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged." John 16:7-11

Beloved. Let us love one another.

In order to be truly an edifying member of the body of Christ, he or she must truly love the other members. Yes. Love is a term of endearment but more than that, authentic love includes love's action. True love will lead to action that expresses that endearment. This too, is what the body of Christ needs. There can never be healing, wholeness and oneness within the body until there is perfect love flowing among those members.

The first and last step in becoming Christ' fullness is to love one another. We should be genuinely concerned about our brothers and sisters well-being, spiritually and in practical ways too. Otherwise we are not really on track with God's perfect will, regardless of our doctrinal accuracy and fortitude. It should be our earnest desire to see each member whole and satisfied in the Lord. To each one we should extend great grace, patience, and forgiveness. This is not always easy, and usually costs us something. We should give true counsel also, which is a love action that is not easy to do either; but it is critically important. As this sense of loving duty becomes a part of our makeup, then we can begin to actually reveal God as He really is.

Yes. We need truth - absolutely. Yes. We need clean living. Yes. We need to be responsible to God and to one another. There are several other essential elements to bring the body to spiritual maturity; but the motive for doing all these should be "pure love from a sincere heart" toward God, and toward each other.

If you lack right actions that honestly demonstrate your love for the other members of the body, consider postponing your present priorities until you have learned this one thing, then you will be able to add your specific gift and call in a way that will actually help make the whole body... whole!

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us." I John 4:7-12

Stunned Speechless

I find myself stunned speechless more often than ever before. America's highest leaders who swore to protect and defend our constitution, work actively in blatant defiance of it every day; and there is no remedy. (read entire article)

Do Not Be Naive

The most diabolically false teachers proclaim Jesus the loudest. They may write songs, play the piano, and sing beautifully, too.

Their testimonies may include miracle episodes when they were but a child, and they may also have walked with some Christian greats of the past. They might have experienced undeniable miracles themselves and have large television ministries where they speak with great confidence. They may have giant auditoriums and doctor's degrees; they may boast of their wisdom keys, make a big to-do about Israel, write and publish best-seller books, and even feed the poor. But none of these outward signs automatically authenticates what they teach. Are you sure that you are able to discern what they teach? The Spirit and the Word await you. Do not make the fatal mistake of taking in all that sounds good. Eve thought Satan sounded really good when he misquoted God, but look where it led all of us!

Beware! "Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived" (II Timothy 3:13).

Judases Abound

The number of those who drink from the same cup, but who are actually traitors, is multiplying exponentially these days.

These are men among us, caught up in themselves. By pride they have gained and maintained the attention of the same crowds that, for whatever reason, wanted to throng Jesus. Like Lucifer before the fall, they love being in close proximity to the throne of the jesus that cultural Christianity has created. They stand out in the crowd, running where the Lord has not sent them, raising themselves up above the throne so that all can see. Like Lucifer, they lead emotionally charged worship and prayer, and even deliver a message (Ezekiel 28:14). The mesmerized multitudes sway with the spirits of many abominations as they adore the jesus they are comfortable with. Consider re-reading Second Peter, chapter two, prayerfully. And take care. One of them may be one of your favorite Christian guides (II Peter 2)!

Battle Score

Christians these days are alarmed by the sudden onslaught of Islam in our own communities across America; and rightfully should be. But I say that damage forthcoming to the Christian community by the influence of Islam over the next several years will still not compare with the damage being done every day by the continuing imposition of modern Christian theology against Truth.

Who is the author of your battle today? Is it really "the devil?" Is it really your spouse, or children, the flesh or the world? Or is it God? Many times we fight God who is actually working some things against us for our ultimate good and His glory. Hebrews 12 Read it!

You don't say?

Someone assured me that they are a part of "a good church," to which I replied: "Good by whose measure? A church isn't a good church until it is consciously maturing into the fullness of Jesus Christ." Most have never heard that we are to become His fullness and do not even know what it means.

The fact that there are so many so-called "good churches" is the very reason God cannot get a Word in edgewise to speak to His people or to the world! HE is the One who said to the church, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock." Rev. 3:20

Before you condemn me for making such a statement, remember that the vast majority of church-goers would say their church is "a good one," but then agree that most other churches are not!
