Sabbath, or the Lord's Day?

Click here for a Biblical, New Covenant explanation of the Old Covenant Sabbath.  It is commonly known that Constantine made strict and uniform the practice of meeting on the first day of the week for "Christian" congregational worship; but its actual origin was the early church. Yet Sunday is not a magic day to meet together as Christ's followers.  Any day of the week, including Saturday, may be an ideal time to meet for the Spirit's edification.  The most important thing to realize is that Jesus Christ is our Sabbath forever; and for the Israel of faith, the Old Covenant Sabbath observance of do's and don'ts is gone away in Christ.
