The World is the Heavenly Father's Field
Across Four Continents
The Lord established The Father's Field Ministries in 1997.
This ministry is called The Father's Field because Jesus said the world is like His heavenly Father's field, where the "good seeds" are sown by Him (the Son of Man) so that a harvest may be produced for the Father (Matt. 13:38). In a similar analogy, the apostle Paul refers to those planting and watering seeds of truth in the world as God's "fellow workers" in that field (I Cor. 3:9). Our call from the Lord has led us throughout much of the world, as some of the "good seed" sown by the Son of Man for a harvest. We are also "fellow laborers" with God, planting other seeds of truth through Him.
Our experience in full-time ministry started from our apartment in Buenos Aires, Argentina. My family and I moved there in pursuit of God's call to us, owning nothing, yet possessing all things. Since 1997, we have been privileged to labor among thousands of pastors and other local church leaders on four continents. The administrative teams that we put together around the world have organized many city-wide pastors' seminars among various countries, where we have taught through the Bible with a prophetic tone and particular emphasis on the events of these last days as they relate to the church. In addition to serving on multiple teaching trips throughout Scotland and England, we have worked in Spain, Guatemala, Peru, Israel, and Sri Lanka. I have also filled the keynote-speaker position of both regional and national pastors' conferences multiple times in each of the following countries: Argentina, Jordan, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, India, Iraq, and Pakistan; and I have taught by invitation at various evangelical denominational seminaries, such as Assembly of God, Baptist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, and Methodist.
In addition to having nourished the churches, The Father's Field Ministries has evangelized countless people with the pure gospel message of salvation by grace through faith in the Person and work of Jesus Christ. We have also demonstrated the power of Jesus Christ through the manifestation of various gifts of the Spirit, setting people free from all kinds of bondages of the devil. We have worked in prisons, hospitals, neighborhoods, and schools, in busy streets and parks, in markets and community centers, sharing the love of God to humanity. We have printed and distributed thousands of various gospel materials; we have conducted a medical mission, and we have been a vital part of building one church building in South America and several in India. We have discipled young men and women for extended seasons; and through on-going collaboration, we have been used to encourage and restore to the ministry several pastors who had, for whatever reason, lost their fire to minister. I have also served for five years as a small-church pastor - a wonderful learning experience, and one that was necessary to fully appreciate and understand the pastor's role in the local church. This is not a boasting at all, but rather a brief, general overview of our service in the Lord, written for those who are just being introduced to us.
Our ministry is indeed a faith ministry. We started with nothing; and while a small fortune has passed through our hands, we have accumulated nothing along the way except the few assets that help us carry out the work day to day. My wife Debbie and I live a very modest lifestyle. We have raised a family of three children with the same kinds of challenges that other families face, and God has been faithful to us even through our shortcomings. Our children and their spouses are all born-again and growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord. We have also been blessed with two precious grandchildren.
While it is not good to believe that the health and welfare of the kingdom of God is limited to the amount of money available to Christians, we do realize that money plays an important role in our ability to go and do the work. We greatly appreciate your financial assistance when given out of love from a pure heart, whether the gift is large or small. We are a 501 (c) (3) organization, and your gifts are qualified for a federal tax deduction just as they would be with any other non-profit organization, such as a local church. We provide a tax-deductible receipt for gifts totaling more than $200 per year, and also for gifts less than that upon request. We sincerely appreciate your regular financial support, and we pray that the Lord will move more of His people to give to Him through us as we grow our ministry throughout our own country - an area of the globe where we are just beginning our labor of love to His name.
We also covet your prayers. The spiritual warfare is always ongoing, and sometimes it is great indeed. Please share your encouraging thoughts and prayers for us through our contact us page. We would LOVE to hear from you. You will also find our mailing address there if you would like to send a love offering.
We give Him thanks that, in spite of our frailties, He has tried us with fire and continues to shape us for His use.
May Jesus Christ be praised!
